December 2023
The year is drawing to a close and we've had a busy one. Collaborating with Gloria Ferris to write as Ferris Tremain was great fun.
To recap: Jamie Tremain released our 4th Dorothy Dennehy Mystery - Cultivating the Truth, and with Ferris Tremain we created the Mechanic Falls Gem Caper series, releasing Worlds May Change, and following up with a Christmas short - Tequila Claus.
We're taking a short break over the holidays, but plans are afoot to bring you more in 2024. Stay tuned.
Wishing one and all the very best of the Season and all good things for 2024!

We have two series. Our first is the Dorothy Dennehy Mystery Series, and centres around former cop turned P.I. - Dorothy Dennehy. A houseboat in Portland, Oregon is both her home and office. After being widowed in Boston, she moved west with her father, Max, a retired officer from the same force.
She has a dependable team of investigators and will take on just about any case, seeing it through to the end. Her life is focused on work, and time spent with her father.
Fans of a strong female sleuth will enjoy her confidence, humour and ability to discover the truth. A strong character with a vulnerable heart she's learned to protect.
Our second series is Grant's Crossing. Rural small-town Ontario is the setting for this light mystery series, with cozy elements. Alysha Grant is the young, and inexperienced, new owner of Leven Lodge - a guest home for those more mature folks not yet ready for a nursing home. Inheriting the former family property, she depends on her staff's capable skills to help her as she grows into her new role.
Residents aren't always what they portray, many have secrets. Romance and matters of the heart are no strangers to any of them, but when crime affects Leven Lodge, Alysha doesn't hesitate to become involved.
Fans of small-town characters will enjoy getting to know the residents of Leven Lodge and Grant's Crossing. Add a sprinkling of romance and you'll want to keep coming back for more.

Dorothy Dennehy is a Private Investigator, and former cop. She works from a houseboat - the Private, Aye? - moored on the Willamette River, in Portland Oregon. She oversees a team of investigators with help from her father, retired cop Max Dennehy. He runs Maxwell's Bar & Grill in the same marina. No case is too big, or too small, for them to take on.
